The Theological Weekend Training Program is an addition extension program, which also makes the completion of the one-year Biblical Studies Program possible.
In order to enroll in BSB’s Theological Distance Learning Program, we expect that a student will be at least 18 years of age and will have completed a ten-year secondary education program. Additionally, we expect each student to have a clear commitment to Jesus Christ and to be prepared to use the knowledge and experience gained through his/her studies at BSB to serve the local church.
Lectures take place on the second weekend of each month. Through participation in all courses, the completion of the program is possible within three years.
Lecture Time
In a single weekend, one credit hour (15 hours of lecture) can be taught. For example, a course with 2 credit hours will be taught on two weekends. This course would then be completed within 2 months. Lectures take place every Friday and Saturday at the following times:
Friday 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday 9.00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
FEB-Gemeinde Veltheim, Ravensberger Str. 194 in 32457 Porta Westfalica
FEB-Gemeinde Leerbeck, Unter der Kirche 34 in 32457 Porta Westfalica
One credit hour (CE) currently costs 45 Euros (For example, a 2 credit hour course costs 90 Euros). The course fees can be paid in installments. Additional material costs may also arise.
Upon completion of the Theological Weekend Training Program, students have the opportunity to enroll in further studies on campus. The Theological Weekend Training Program meets the requirements of the one-year Biblical Studies Program.
If the student can demonstrate the necessary aptitude for further studies, he/she has the option of entering the Bible School Program offered on campus at BSB in the second year of study. In individual cases, an exception may be made. It is also possible for full-time students to receive governmental financial assistance during their studies.
If a student is unable to complete the Theological Weekend Training Program for some reason (relocation, sickness, etc), he/she has the opportunity to complete the remaining course work through the Distance Learning Program. The course work may also be completed through participation in the intensive seminars, which are regularly offered at Bibelseminar Bonn.
