

This program is a good opportunity for those who would like to invest a “Year for God” between the completion of their education and the beginning of their career. The school year, which includes two internships, begins in October and continues through September of the following year.
The Biblical Studies Program generally incorporates 48 credit hours. One credit hour consists of 15 hours of instruction. One course typically has 2 credit hours.
Through the Biblical Studies Program at BSB, we would like to help you to cultivate a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, to gain tools for studying and understanding the Bible, to acquire practical skills for service in the church, and to develop a mission-oriented worldview.
For admission to the Biblical Studies Program, one must:
A completed professional education is desired.
Those who have successfully completed the one-year Biblical Studies Program are qualified for competent volunteer service in the church as well as for practically-oriented missionary service.
In addition to the application forms, acceptance of the applicant is also dependent upon at least two personal recommendations from a pastor, counselor, friend, etc. When necessary, more recommendations may also be requested.
The BSB administrators, who are responsible for the processing of application forms, also conduct a personal interview with every applicant. The application documents will also be reviewed by either the president of the seminary or the academic dean. In cases of doubt, the final decision will be made through a meeting of the leadership of the seminary. The applicant will then be informed about the decision by the appropriate person.
