Bibelseminar Bonn e.V.
Bibelseminar Bonn is the ideal setting for study. Haus Wittgenstein, the historic, main building is situated on a 13 acre expanse with a park of about 7 acres belonging to it. Among other things, it has a volleyball court and table tennis court on the premises. A soccer field and a water park, as well as other sports facilities and leisure activities are also available nearby.
In 1845, the building master of the Cologne Cathedral was first commissioned to build the house by the banking family “von Wittgenstein”. In the 20th century, the house was converted into the clinic "Parksanatorium".
Later, House Wittgenstein served as the headquarters for the Green party, an environmentally friendly, German political party, who set aside the grounds as a nature reserve. Their slogan “From this place [Haus Wittgenstein], we will change the world”, we felt was also a good motto for us.
Since 1996, Haus Wittgenstein has served as the residence for Bibelseminar Bonn and for the Internationales Centrum fuer Weltmission (ICW).
