As Jesus was returning to His Father, He gave His disciples this charge:
"Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” Mk 16:15 “Teach them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” Mt. 28:20
For hundreds of years, Christians have strived to fulfill this great commission. Today, it becomes our task! We are challenged to reach the world for Christ. How can we accomplish this mission? How can we reach people in a secular, post-modern world? How can we reach people who have distanced themselves from the church and who no longer hold a biblically-based worldview? How can we reach people from other cultures with the good news of Jesus? This is our aim!
Bibelseminar Bonn is a training ground for church and mission work. It is our goal to prepare students for active Christian service, whether they plan to return to serve in their home churches, to plant new churches in Germany, or to become involved in Christian mission work internationally. Therefore, this theological training program is not concentrated on merely relaying theological knowledge. We seek to closely connect theory and praxis. We believe that if we fail to lead an authentic, Christian lifestyle, every act of service misses the mark. By choosing to study at Bibelseminar Bonn, you are deciding for a faith training program that is designed to prepare you for fruitful service in the church or on the mission field.
